Katherine has over 14 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. Her main areas of focus are insurance, indemnity, personal injury, medical negligence, product liability and property damage.
Katherine is a skilled and strategic negotiator and has a strong record of resolving disputes through mediation and settlement conferences. She is highly qualified in running liability claims to trial, and has done so to appellate level, including special leave to appeal to the High Court. She has also advised on and prepared matters for inquests.
Katherine has acted for a variety of Australian and overseas insurers as well as government agencies. She provides strategic advice on the management of claims prior to litigation and through to appeal.
