Seun specialises in medical negligence and health law, representing individual medical professionals and NSW public health entities in civil litigation and coronial inquests and inquiries.
Her practice extends to all NSW Courts and she frequently appears in the District Court, Supreme Court, State Coroner’s Court and Local Courts (coronial jurisdiction).
She also acts for government departments providing policy advice in respect of ageing and disability and representing agencies in coronial inquests.
Seun is a skilled and persuasive advocate and has appeared at coronial inquests and interlocutory applications without counsel.
She regularly presents tailored learning and development sessions and educational seminars to her clients.
Prior to joining Makinson d’Apice, Seun gained significant government policy experience within the Department of Attorney General and Justice and the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) providing disability and aged care policy advice to a range of Government and NGO stakeholders.
