Congratulations to Ella Alexander who won the Pro Bono lawyer of the year award at the Women in Law Awards 2020 gala night. 

In addition she was also a finalist for the Excellence Award that was announced at the end of the night. Only ten people with the highest scores from the judges across all categories were finalists for this award.  
 
The awards are well-deserved recognition for the work she has provided to our clients and the pro bono community throughout this year.  In addition to coordinating our firm’s Pro Bono and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Ella spent a large part of the year at Justice Connect on secondment where she was helping with the legal response to the catastrophic bushfires over the Summer of 2019/20.
