In response to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, I confirm Makinson d’Apice’s key priorities are:
- the health of our staff and our clients; and
- maintaining the quality of our client service.
Our response to the situation is guided by the latest information available from federal and state governments as well as the World Health Organisation.
We have flexible working arrangements in place whereby many of our lawyers are undertaking work remotely, with technology and processes in place to provide ongoing service to our clients in a seamless manner.
Many meetings are now taking place via Skype, Zoom or by teleconference in order to maintain appropriate social distancing.
The personal nature of our business relationships with our clients will remain intact and our partners and lawyers are always available to look after your needs even where face to face meetings are not possible.
At present, we do not have any known incidence of COVID-19 among our staff. We are taking precautionary measures to ensure we are looking after our staff and our clients. We are also mindful of being socially responsible to the broader community.
Please do not hesitate to contact your Makinson d’Apice partner or myself if you have any further queries.
Kind regards
Alex Kohn
