Emma started her career in Dublin, Ireland and has spent over 12 years in Sydney gaining extensive Australian legal experience at leading national firms, including a top tier firm, and over 5 years in-house at an international financial institution.

She has acted across a broad range of debt finance structures and transactions including real estate, construction, corporate, acquisition, resources and aviation financing.

• Acting for domestic and off-shore financiers and borrowers in respect of a range of secured and unsecured corporate, structured, property and project financing transactions on both a bilateral, club and syndicated basis.
• Acting for a listed industrial asset REIT ($3.8bn) in respect of its transition from a secured financing platform to an unsecured financing platform.
• Acting for a listed office asset REIT in respect of the financing of its acquisition of multiple high-profile office assets, and disposals, and various debt extensions and refinancings of its club lending structure.
• Acting for an unlisted, open ended agricultural fund on the acquisition of its seed asset, and subsequent multiple agricultural assets.
• Acting for an international real estate investor on its acquisition, development and refinance of multiple highly-regarded Australian assets across the hospitality, winery and residential apartment areas.
• Acting for a market-leading non-bank lender on the financing of the acquisition of a hotel asset in Sydney.
• Acting for a major domestic bank on the acquisition of various assets across East coast Australia for its long-standing corporate client.
