Over the course of her career Nicole has acted for and on behalf of non-bank lenders, corporate commonwealth entities, security trustees, senior syndicates and large corporate borrowers in various financial deals.

Legal Expertise

• Acting for a non-bank lender in connection with the provisions of approximately $35 million senior construction financing of early childhood education centres in Queensland, including the completion of thorough due diligence in respect of the construction contract, development agreement and agreement for lease.
• Acting for a non-bank lender in connection with the provision of an approximately $40 million facility in relation to the construction of multistory student accommodation, along with acting for the lender in connection with various due diligence and the drafting and negotiation of an operating and maintenance agreement side deed between the student accommodation service provider, the borrower, and the Lender.
• Acting for a non-bank lender in connection with the provision of senior construction financing for the development of a multi-stage land subdivision in Baranduda VIC, along with acting for the lender in connection with ongoing consent issues, such as easements and further subdivisions.
• Acting for a non-bank lender in connection with the provision of mezzanine finance for general commercial and construction projects, including negotiation of priority agreements with big-four-banks.

Nicole also has a passion for pro-bono work, giving up her time on a fortnightly basis to volunteer with the Redfern Legal Centre.
